Since taking on the role of supervisor for this series, I’ve always wanted to create a pose collection featuring a model with exceptional flexibility, if the opportunity arose.
It’s incredibly exciting when a model I invite to my studio is so flexible that they can easily perform poses that would be difficult for most people. However, simply using a model’s flexibility and focusing solely on that—creating poses like those seen in casual clothing store commercials or acrobatic poses from a circus—is fine, but I was concerned that it might become monotonous or, in a sense, a bit of a novelty.
このシリーズの監修を引き受けてから、機会があれば、体がとても柔らかいモデルさんでポーズ集を 作ってみたいと思っていました。
アトリエに呼んだモデルさんが、体が柔らかく、普通の人にはちょっと無理なポーズでもすいすいでき てしまうと、大いに盛り上がるものです。
しかし、単に体が柔らかいモデルさんで、そのことだけを活かして、 カジュアル衣料量販店のCMで見 かけるようなポーズや、サーカスで見るような曲芸的ポーズを展開していくのもいいですが、 それだけ では単調になったり、 ある意味キワモノっぽいつくりになることが危惧されました。
